Hey Guys I decided to make myself a pair of monkey boots This is pretty much the very first time I make pair of boots in my whole life, I’d say they’re acceptable 😅 I use : -5/6 oz Brown oil tanned leather -leather heel counters -no gemming but Hold fast - 360 degree split welt -leather midsoles -Vibram 377 Cristy thick -antique edge finish

THE LEATHER We worked with Seidel tanning in Wisconsin to develop this boot leather, which started off as watch strap leather. Seidel made modifications to the temper, finish and especially the thickness, to bring this rugged leather into our boots.
